What We Offer

Replacement of old, inefficient light fixtures with new sleek, energy-efficient light fixtures that will virtually last forever and shine beautiful color-accurate light within your home.

What We Do Not Offer

We do not offer new electrical wiring within walls and ceilings (for light fixtures or switches to new locations). We also cannot switch a recessed can to a flush mount box or vice versa.

However - our Integrated LED light fixtures are designed to look and perform very similarly across our product assortment - so switching fixture types is typically not necessary.

How It Works

One of our HighlifeATX Account Managers will perform a free consultation to demonstrate the product, evaluate how many light fixtures you need upgraded and provide and estimate of job cost. For small jobs (less than 5 or so fixtures) we should be able to install on the same day of consultation. For larger jobs we will schedule a return date to perform the work.

Lumens

Lumens measure how bright a light bulb or fixture is. The more lumens, the brighter the light. It's a way to help you choose the right light for your needs. Unlike watts, which measure energy use, lumens tell you about the actual light output. So, higher lumens mean a brighter light. The lumen measurement helps you choose the desired level of brightness for a particular space or application.

What Are Lumens and Kelvins?

Kelvins

Kelvins (K) in the context of lighting refer to the color temperature of a light source. Think of Kelvins like picking the vibe for your home lighting party.

  • Low Kelvins (around 2700K): Picture a warm, sunset-like glow. It's like having a cozy fireplace, creating that comfy and relaxed atmosphere—perfect for winding down after a long day.

  • Medium Kelvins (3500K-4500K): This is the everyday hero. Neutral and versatile, it's like the lighting chameleon. It suits your kitchen, living room, or workspace without stealing the show—just there to make everything look good.

  • High Kelvins (5000K and above): Now we're talking daylight vibes! It's like bringing the outdoor sunshine inside. Great for tasks and staying alert. Think of it as your secret weapon for productivity.

Picking the right amount of Kelvins is your ticket to setting the perfect mood in your home—whether you want it cozy, neutral, or full of energy!
